Township Community Forum – Creating a Vision for the Town of Zsámbék

In September we held a community planning session with the aim of creating a vision for the town of Zsámbék.

The Township Community Forum (TCF) is a gathering of independent individuals who are able and willing to make responsible decisions regarding the future of the township, and to act upon these decisions. It is a group of the residents of a given settlement which addresses current or overwhelming challenges faced by the settlement, or topics that have bearing on the future of the settlement, and do so in a constructive and result-oriented manner.

Vision creation workshop for the Sclerosis Multiplex Budapest Association

We held a Vision creation workshop for members of the Sclerosis Multiplex Budapest Association in late March. It was an exciting and gratifying challenge that also enriched us. Participants were highly motivated and constructive; they actively took part in the process, and created an imaginative and rich vision for the Association by the end of the day.

We are happy to see that more and more domestic production companies nurture a complex view of how they could shape the functioning of their organisation. What this means is that the management are not only trying to create a potentially successful mode of operations when pressured by current production levels but they are taking a further-reaching, holistic approach in this matter.

"We commissioned Concordia to develop a program that would, instead of developing general leadership skills, refresh the existing leadership skills set of our team of leaders with decades of experience, and thereby endow them with a healthier leadership approach and skills that are also well suited for managing current leadership challenges. The 18-month program was made all the more exciting by the fact that the company was transferred to new ownership before the program was completed. Building on their existing leadership experience Concordia managed to fully involve our managers in the program, and to reform the corporate leadership credo by focusing on questions and issued already brought to the surface by the changing environment. The program left ample space for the topics and situations suggested by the participants, and Concordia managed to maintain all frameworks and close off individual sections as required by the overall objective, regardless of the degree of emotional involvement.
